Katara and Sokka make a startling discovery while fishing: a boy frozen in an iceberg, perfectly preserved and - amazingly - alive. Katara is just a little bit too whiny – but what’s truly amazing is how the whole thing goes off without a hitch. When a boy found frozen in a block of ice is thawed, the world learns he's the Avatar they've been waiting for, and his destiny takes a dizzying turn.

So, with a lot of ground to cover, it’s liable that there’ll be a few bum notes in there – the editing between the storylines of Aang’s capture and the rescue effort could have been a bit clearer, for instance. Avatar: The Last Airbender had 54 full episodes, 61 with 7 being in parts and it is an Emmy-winning American television series. It was written and created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. It was first shown on television on 21 February 2005 with a one-hour series premiere, and ended its run with a two-hour TV movie on 19 July 2008. For longtime fans looking back on the show and for people who are now discovering the franchise, thanks to both series being added to Netflix, it's surprising to learn that not everyone has a last name, simply because it's not a point that's brought up by any. The tone of the show needs to be set (smart move, making episode one the adventure segment and episode two the action segment), the main characters need to be pretty fleshed out and, of course, the mythology needs to be explained quite a bit so we understand it. Aang and friends arrive in the Earth Kingdom to begin his earthbending training, but a local general convinces Aang that all he needs to do is learn to control his Avatar state. In Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra's world, only some characters have last names, but there's a reason for that. There’s a lot of ground covered in this episode and The Boy In The Iceberg. To cut a long story short, Aang is rescued by his new Water Tribe friends and they escape, Zuko vowing to never underestimate the Avatar again. Series Info: Full Name: Avatar: The Last Airbender Season: 1 2 3 Language: English with subtitles Release Year: 2005-2008 Size: 100MB (Each Episode).
Of course, this only turns Aang into the Avatar, allowing him to attack pretty much everyone on board using waterbending techniques. Zuko is well and truly beaten (bludgeoned by a mattress, ow) but he doesn’t take no for an answer and his persistence eventually pays off when he knocks Aang off the ship and into the waters. Book 1 had some low points, but Id be lying if I said Book 2 didnt make up for them - full of major turning points in development for certain characters such. Obviously, this doesn’t last long with Aang escaping to get his staff back, bringing him to blows with Zuko.
